Concrete Stepping Stones

One of the easiest home projects for a homeowner is laying concrete blocks to decorate the sidewalk in the open area of the home.

Create a work area in the house to make stepping stones. Place newspapers and plastic wrap on the surface. Prepare the mold on the surface of the workstation. Make sure the shape doesn’t stick to the surface of the pan.

Use oil or petroleum jelly before preparing the mold. Once the mold is ready, open the cement package and use it according to the directions on the package. Mix the cement well and pour it over the mold. Mix the cement with powdery mildew on the entire surface, pressing it from all sides. Let the molds stand for 60 minutes and wait for the stones to harden properly. Now you can start decorating the concrete blocks.

You can start by placing glasses and the colorful items you want to use on the stepping stones. Even if the objects or pieces of glass get some concrete, you can wipe them completely with the cloth after they dry. If you want to manually print the concrete steps, carefully place the cement over the forms and wait for it to dry slightly. Apply oil or petroleum jelly to your hand and gently press it onto the mild surface of the stone that marks your hand shape.

You can even use stamp letters to mark different figures on the stone. When you are done decorating the stones, leave the concrete blocks untouched and leave them in one place for 3 days. When you are sure that concrete step stones can be used for decoration, you can place them in the designated spot in the courtyard or on the sidewalk.
